I've never been a fan of many appliances, and there are benefits to making your juice in a blender. The biggest one is getting to enjoy all that fiber that is lost during most juicing. This blender juice is the one I find myself making over and over again and was inspired by the ingredients in my favorite $12 juice in Los Angeles.

    Why this Recipe Works

Instead of using a juicer, this recipe uses a high-speed blender to keep the nutritious fiber in the juice.

The balance of fruits with herbs and vegetables yields the perfect sweetness. This is a very drinkable, healthy juice.

I place my blender pitcher on a food scale. Weighing the ingredients helps me make this recipe exactly the same every single time with ease.

Small additions like turmeric, chia seed, and chlorophyll are nutritious and shelf-stable making most of these ingredients ones you can have on hand. Also, these are ingredients you can get all year round.

    My Trick to Consistent Results

When measuring ingredients for juice, the best way to do it is by weight. I put the blender pitcher on a scale and measure out my ingredients with ease. See it under there?

    Green Juice FAQs

    Does juicing destroy nutrients?

No. The vitamins, minerals, and nutrients are intact after juicing. However, most of the fiber is lost because it is removed during the juicing process.

    Is it good for you?

In general, yes. However, be sure to consume everything in moderation, including green juice. Healthline advises that drinking too much may harm your blood sugar and kidney function.
