This pickle spritz is my mocktail of choice these days. Trust me on this one! It’s a straightforward mix of salty, tart pickle juice with bubbly sparkling water, seltzer, or club soda. It’s refreshing and crisp with a delightful tanginess too, just what you need on a hot and sunny evening! Be sure to use a pickle juice from a pickle you love, and customize it to your liking.
🌟This Pickle Juice Mocktail is something special
Super simple: What’s not to love about two ingredients? This is perfect if you like to keep things low-key and don’t want to prepare several ingredients for a mocktail.
Use up any stray pickle juice: If you enjoy jars of pickles, you’ll often have some pickle juice left over. This is the perfect way to re-use it as a refreshing mocktail.
Non-alcoholic indulgence: Mocktails are cool, creative, and a great way to treat yourself when you want an alcohol-free beverage. This one is tasty, but you’ll also love my borage fizz mocktail or a strawberry basil shrub.
🧾Ingredients in a Pickle Spritz
Pickle juice – Use the pickle juice left over from any of your fave pickles. I always taste the juice to make sure I like it before mixing. It doesn’t matter which pickle juice you use… olive, spicy pickles, sweet pickles, it all works!
Sparkling water – Use sparkling water, seltzer, or club soda.

👩🍳How to Make Your Pickle Spritz
Combine the pickle juice and sparkling water in a nice glass of choice and stir to combine.
Garnish the rim with a pickle for extra pizazz. A spicy salt rim could also be fun!
