Earthy, soothing matcha and warming cardamom spice come together in this Cardamom Matcha Latte. It’s a one-of-a-kind treat you’ll enjoy both hot and iced, depending on your preference. That little kick of cardamom spice together with the matcha is unexpected and utterly delicious.

🌟Why Ground Cardamom Instead of Pods
I tested this recipe in two ways: infusing whole cardamom pods into warmed milk and then using ground cardamom directly in the mix.
In the end, I chose the ground cardamom version because it was simpler, worked just as well for both hot and iced variations, and the slight graininess didn’t bother me. I found that letting the spice settle at the bottom of the cup was an easy trade-off for the deeper, more immediate flavor it gave.

Pro Tip on Sweetness Level
Some store-bought plant-based milk or creamers already contain sweeteners, so be sure to taste your latte before adding any additional sweetener.
