Apple Brie Crostini with Walnuts, Honey, & Thyme

This crostini has it all! Crispness from the apple, creaminess from the brie, nuttiness from the walnut, sweetness from the honey, and earthiness from the thyme. The best part? It pairs perfectly with rosé.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette sliced ¼-½ thick on a diagonal
  • 16 oz. brie cheese cut into thin slices
  • 2 apples thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups walnut pieces and halves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 small bunch lemon thyme
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat to 375°F.
  • Place your baguette slices on a sheet pan. Brush both sides of your baguette lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes until golden, flipping halfway through. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature.
  • Top each crostini with one slice of brie, 2 slices of apple, then 2-3 pieces of walnut, drizzle lightly with honey, and top with a small sprig of lemon thyme.
  • Serve immediately.
