Nutella Sufganiyot

WHAT YOU NEED

yeast water sugar egg yolks coconut milk salt vanilla extract flour vegetable oil or melted margarine powdered sugar Nutella or other chocolate spread

your chocolate spread. You can use almost any chocolate spread for this recipe

CHOOSE

yeast, 1.5 teaspoons sugar, ¼ cup of warm coconut milk, and 2 tablespoons of warm water in bowl of a stand mixer

COMBINE

2 tbsp of sugar, 2 egg yolks, salt, vanilla extract, and 1 cup flour into yeast mixture. Mix on low with dough hook for ~2 mins until combined

ADD

vegetable oil slowly with mixer running. Mix well. Gradually add UP TO 1 more cup of flour.  *Refer to full recipe for in depth dough instructions*

ADD

out dough to ¾ inch thick

ROLL

into 8 squares or use a 3-inch cookie cutter

CUT

sufganiyot in 3-4 inches of vegetable oil at 350F. 45-50 seconds per side

FRY

doughnuts with chocolate then sprinkle with powdered sugar
