MATCHA TOFFEE

WHAT YOU NEED

matcha powder sugar salt coconut oil vanilla extract baking soda butter white chocolate chips

sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla over medium-low heat. Cook and stir constantly until hard-crack stage of 295-300F, measured using an instant-read thermometer

MELT

pot from heat and stir in the baking soda. STIR VIGOROUSLY. The baking soda will puff up as it adds bubbles in the toffee

REMOVE

bubbling toffee mixture onto baking sheet. Do not touch – it will burn you

POUR

melted white chocolate on top of toffee and spread it evenly using a spatula

POUR

matcha chocolate on top. Use more matcha chocolate to get a more green color

SWIRL

with sprinkles, chocolate stars or balls, gold leaf, and whatever else you'd like
