Fresh Ginger Root Cake

WHAT YOU NEED

flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium-sized bowl

SIFT

mix together brown sugar, molasses, egg and grated fresh ginger in separate bowl

MIX

melted butter and water mixture and stir until incorporated

ADD

dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just incorporated

MIX

ginger cake batter for 30-35 minutes

BAKE

on rack, overnight if you can
