Eggnog Base egg yolks sugar milk cream nutmeg rum or bourbon Brown Sugar Bourbon Meringue egg whites brown sugar water bourbon
yolks and sugar together until pale yellow
pale yellow mixture will look like this
milk, cream, and nutmeg until it lightly simmers
egg/sugar mixture with the milk/cream mixture
from heat. Stir in the rum or bourbon.
Beat egg whites to soft peaks. With mixer running, slowly pour in brown sugar syrup until shiny and stiff peaks form. Then, beat in bourbon
spoon sugar meringue on top of chilled eggnog. Garnish with cinnamon stick
